THE IMPORTANCE OF WATER
A large part of the human body is water. The body needs daily water to cleanse it by flushing toxins out, and ideally, by sweating out of the pores also. Take some vigorous activity like sport, dancing, sex or take a sauna.
We don’t wash our sinks out with coffee. We use water. The body is the same. If you drink more than three cups of coffee a day, replace every second one with a glass of water. Coffee and alcohol are diuretics – increasing urination and leaving us thirsty.
It is not sufficient to say that all the water you need is contained in, for example, beer, wine, coffee, soft drinks and tea. You need water – say a minimum of one litre a day, some experts recommend much more than that.
Drink a glass of water before each meal, rather than during or after. Add a slice of lemon for taste, or a dash of apple cider vinegar for health. Drink water between room temperature and body temperature for the body to be able to absorb it efficiently. Avoid ice in drinks.
Tap water is required by law to be safe. To achieve this the water company will add chlorine. It is like a sliced loaf of bread having a plastic bag to keep it fresh and clean. You don’t eat the bag. Don’t drink the chlorine either. A carbon filter and separate drinking tap are ideal. Chlorine and other particulate matter are filtered out.
If the water tastes really bad, even after filtering, then fit a reverse osmosis system. The downside is that it removes all the good minerals. The positive is that there will not be the “sand” which can result in “stones” forming in the body, which can be very painful to release.
Drinking water keeps us young. Don’t repeatedly boil the same water. It can become “heavy water” – H2O2 instead of H2O.
Bottled water is an uneconomic, but safe option, but beware leaving the plastic bottle in the sun, or freezing water in plastic bottles. Chemicals in the plastic can seep into the water, with potential harmful risks including breast cancer.
As a general guide, plastics are best avoided for cooking, microwaving and storage of water and foodstuffs, if there is a glass or ceramic option.
Ideally freeze water, not in plastic, and drink within five hours as it loses the good structure, or refreeze, to kill harmful elements. Add mint for taste before freezing if you like that.
Sit water, and other fluids on magnets, to improve the water quality. Vitaflow brand – contact earthenergies@gmail.com for details.
